Hello Good DAL folk :-)
I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007.
On this I have 3 different email accounts and what I'm wanting to do is set it up so that when I create a new message from each account it shows to the receiver which account it has come from.
At the moment it keeps showing that all newly composed messages are coming from the default email account.
It works fine when I am simply replying to emails that have gone in to each category but when I compose a new message it shows it as coming from the default account.
I hope I am making sense.
:-)
That is normal I think. It works fine when I am simply replying to emails that have gone in to each category but when I compose a new message it shows it as coming from the default account.
Unless you manually choose the actual account you want to reply from it will always show the default account as far as I know.
Others may assist when they come by,
kind regards,
Hello Talin.
Yeah I know it does this automatically and I'd like to know how to make it look to the sender that I've sent from that particular account and not just the default one as it's doing now.
Thanks for repying anyway :-)
Any ideas on this folks?
Hi Eddy,
I have three accounts all being scanned by my default account. As you say, if replying to incoming mail by clicking 'reply' it goes from the account that received the email.
HOWEVER - with Windows Live Mail, my default account, when I want to reply to any of my emails, there is in the top right hand corner (after clicking reply) a drop down menu which lets me select from which account I'm sending the reply.
I have never used Microsoft Outlook 2007 so do not know what options it offers.
Check it out, it may just be the same option offered.
kind regards,
Hi Tallin.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I will give that a go then and see what I can find.
