Hi all. I hope I'm in the correct place.

I have made a table in Microsoft Word 2000 containing a book list with authors and publishers.

What I would like to know is:
Can I import my table from Word into a database like Excel, so I am able to arrange the list in alpherbetical order either by title or auther at the touch of a button?

If so, would someone be so kind as to explain to a computer dunce.
