I need help with mystery behaviour of Limewire, I just cant fathom it.

When I activate LW, it wont connect, but also I cant exit. It drains my pc to a standstill. The only way I can exit is... if I can get Task Manager up, is to kill LW in processes, if I cant get task Manager up, turn pc off. Even then, when i come back on line. LW restarts. Two things I have done recently, is ........ Followed tweaks from PcStats with regard to internet and networking ......... Changed Provider.
I deleted LimeWire and tried Bear Share. This I didnt even get to try because Pc kept telling me it wasnt installed.
It seems I cannot run a P2P program.
Can Anyone Assist please.

You might have picked up some Malware at Limewires site maybe. You might consider posting a Hijack This Log in This section of forum.

HI Roky, thanks so much for your suggestions, I never thought to do this. You were right on the money, I didnt pick up some Malaware, I had a bloody stampede of them. At this point Im running the scans you suggested plus my own programs of protection, Plus I also found a program in my system that I DIDNT!!!! download. Hopefully I can sort problem, if not I shall post all results into the forum who's link you sent and yell HELP!!!!!!!!
