Hello everyone im new to this site.
I have a problem with a friends computer every time it reboots a window opens wit the message preparing to instal even though there is nothing being installed.
She bought a toy for her little girl that uses the computer.
When i try to instal the software during installation i get the message ( Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll ( required by C:\rogram Files\Microsoft Office 12\GrooveUtil.dll) .
To try and sesolve the problem i tried to run repair from the Microsoft Office disk but get the message something else is using the installation.

I too faced a similar kind problem like this a few week ago and i was feeling help less as i do not have much technical know-how. But a friend of mine told me about an iYogi Technician who solved my problem.

It would appear that there is an incomplete install process occurring. ie;

Is this toy software somehow tied into MS Office?

Is GrooveUtil.dll part of the toy software?

Open Task Manager. (Right click on an empty area of the Task Bar and choose Task Manager. Ensure you're on the Processes Tab.) Can you identify any processes linked to either MS Office (install/repair) or the toy software?

If so, try ending the associated process, then initiate the toy software install or Office Repair once again.
