You might be able to ID your display adaptor in Device Manger. If so, run "update drivers". or do a search for the name listed and add drivers to your search. For example: Radeon 6500 GT drivers
if not, see if the video conection to your computer is integrated (on the mother board) or on its own video card. If you have a separate card you may be able to ID the make and then search for the drivers from the manufacturers website.
Also, a Windows Update may find the drivers for you as well. Try this first.

If it was a work computer it's most likely a proprietary machine. (ie; Brand_Name - Gateway, Dell, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lenovo, Compaq, etc.) If it is, please post the make, and the exact model number. If there is a Service Tag, post this info as well.
If the machine is a custom built, what is the make and model/rev of the motherboard?
Or, download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (Clean FreeWare) Once it's finished loading and running, look under Computer, Summary, Display, or under Display, PCI/AGP Video. This will tell you what display adapter/chip you have. Post that information. (Video Adapter and 3D Accelerator.)
Also look under MOTHERBOARD.
Post what is listed for your Motherboard (make/model) and the Chipset description. ie; Intel Solano i815E, SIS, Nvidia, etc, etc.
