im currently using this software to create photo slide shows which is great fun but i cant seem to burn the finished product, it says "disk format vcd" Im very confused (or dumb!) im trying to copy onto a blank dvd to play which isnt working...help!!

What is the format of the finished project file?
Maybe you are just wasting your time trying to burn it using the same software. If it's a video, you can use other tools like Nero, Ashampoo or other softwares to burn it on DVD.
