How to open a database if it gives the following message???


" The database engine has stopped the process because you and another are attempting to change the same data the same time "


Please tell me as soon as possible.....its urgent......NO, the database is not on a server.....and nobody has access to it either, i have tried opening it after disconnecting my LAN and internet ....but it still won't work....please help....!

What software or programs are you using when you get this error?

that database is for cyber cafe pro actually, and i also tried opening it with MS Access , but it gives the same error, i just want to recover my data for the copying purpose....
