Ok, admittedly, I am stupid.....

I have a dvd, recorded on my dvd recorder. It's only three minutes long. That I'd like to be able to upload to somewhere like you tube for friends to see. I downloaded a program called dvd shrink, and clicked back up. That has given me six files, the first one is called video_ts.bup
I then downloaded divx to try and convert them. When I click on one one of them it says it cannot convert because the frames are not the same size. On the other it tells me it can't convert because I've got no ac3 filter. I really have not got a clue what I'm doing here. Someone, please, please help. I beg you.

No need for help now. Downloaded an ac3 filter and divx worked fine.
