Hi,
A template keeps popping up on my pc from MBS, micro bill systems which is demanding I pay money. I have no idea how it has apparently installed itself & wish to remove it.
It seems to reside in C:\windows\system32
It appears for a longer period of time each day & cannot be deleted from my screen.
Can anyone help?
Regards
Bob
Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware or software?
If this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:
start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
Otherwise:

After a great deal of searching and experimentation, have tracked it down to windows\system32\mbsmon32.exe and mbsreg32.exe in same directory. Search also for files in registry using regedit tool and delete references.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your assistance.
It won't allow me to delete either of those files.
Any ideas?

To delete files windows\system32\mbsmon32.exe and mbsreg32.exe, restart the computer and keep pressing the F8 key which will start Windows in safe mode. You will see a prompt asking if you wish to use System Restore or continue to use safe mode. Select the relevant option to startup in safe mode.
When the computer has finished loading Windows, you should be free to use Windows Explorer and simply delete the files. Not forgetting to delete the registry entries.
Restart the computer in a normal fashion (don’t press the F8 key). Virus/spy-ware should be eradicated.
Thanks I'll try as suggested.
I have had the same problem. I started the computer in safe mode and ran msconfig. I found and unchecked mbsmon32. It worked and I was able to delete mbsmon32 and another mbs file from my pc.
