I'm running Windows XP and just downloaded ishareit.com, a music download site. A friend of mine swears by it, but I can't get the thing to work. Anyone use it before?

I suspected that it was a firewall issue but after checking, double checking and triple checking both my Norton and Windows firewall settings, I'm stumped.

You're probably not talking to a guru here so bear with me if I don't know the answers to your questions.


I have Verizon DSL

Windows firewall is turned off however an exception has been created for the ishareit program anyway.

Norton firewall:
First, let Norton learn the ishareit program
Second, Manually configured the firewall rules
Currently set to allow outbound/inbound communication (in that order)


I'd like to get my husband an MP3 player for Father's day but need to find a cheap and EASY way for him to download music. He's computer illiterate. (doesn't understand how to "minimize" the window.
