When i run a system scan of my anti virus program, about half way thru the computer shutsdown and reboots itself. this can be most annoying if you are halfway through some work. i currently use Windows One Care but i have also used Norton Internet Security with the same problem, hence the change,
Coulde anybody PLEASE PLEASE help me

Try to run the scans in Safe Mode, press F8 at boot up and select Safe Mode, then run your virus scan again.

It could be spyware get these 2 free programes, install and update immediatley, then run them and clean out all they find
