Hi I'm new to this and would like to post a problem I'm having. I have a IBM Thinkpad T-20 laptop. When I start it up it runs for about 2 minute and then for no reason it will automatically shutoff. With no error messages or even no error beeps. I can't even run diagnostice to see what the problem is. I've tried a different motherboard, I've tried a different battery, I've even replaced the power supply. But it still does the same behaviour. Does anyone know what could possibly be the problem? It has a 700 mgz cpu, 256 megs of ram, and a 10 gig hard drive.

I moved your post to it's own thread

Have you run a good online virus scan? If not go to This website (using internet explorer) and perform a full scan.
There is a slim chance that your laptop is just over heating. Buy a can of compressed air from any computer store and give all the vents a good blast as well.
