    Backup Registry

Will these two programs do the same thing?

    http://www.snapfiles.com/get/erunt.html

    http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/fil...id,7352,00.asp

Also, I was wondering if the backup from erunt can be saved to a disc, then executed later (from the disc)?

It seems to me that the last time I tried the Backup utility. When I reached the part to copy the information, it would not let me copy it to a cd. It wanted a floppy (which I don't have) or some other media storage. Would that be a C/F Microdrive or the SD/MMC/SM/MS/MS-PRO? (I feel so silly ops: )

First copy it to a folder location, THEN copy that to a cd or other media...make sure that if you want to B?U the registry, use choose System State

Well, here is how it went....

I was missing the first step "click on Advanced Mode". Once your in advanced mode it's easy. Just select what you want to back up.

I selected everything and ended up with a backup of 6.24GB! Too big to copy to a CD and too big to compress. So, I made several backups:

    System State
    My Documents
    Service Pack/i386
Bricko Packs (because I added a lot of docklets and icons there)

I hope I got everything....particularly the MS Updates. Are they in the i386 folder?
