Hello Everyone,

I have a friend of mine who uses IE, using anything else (Fx, Opera etc) is simply out of the question. I've never really had a problem before, as I've always used Adblock for Fx, so I've never dabbed with blocking flash. Does anyone know of a good software/IE addon that can block only flash ads, but leave the GIF banners and the such?

there are four options

1. disable flash completely (I doubt the person in question wants that)
2. disable all flash by replacing them with a static placeholder, and then if you want to view that specific flash you click it and it will appear. For this option, see my sig.
3. keep all flash on, but block specific flash by url by entering it into a program. For this option there is Ad Muncher or proxomitron both are more technical and I doubt the person in question is interested in something like this.
4. keep all flash on, but block specific flash by url by clicking on them ex. adblock. I haven't see anything like this, unfortunately.
