A friend just told me that when he uses WORD the first letter of the first word of "every" Line is capitilized. Is there a command he or his kids have set in MS WORD that would Cause this?

Yes, I am not on Windows now, so I can't tell you where to find it, but look under settings

If you can't find it, once I get on Windows I will.

That can be changed by going to Tools>Auto Correct>Options and uncheck Capitalize first letter of sentences.

Hmmm, that happens to me when ever I press enter and start typing again. Is he pressing enter at the end of every line. I slip into that habit sometimes.
