In my event log there appear to be a lot of 1904 errors, which I presume is linked to DEP, but even disabling DEP does not change this problem. Most of M$oft's Antispyware .dll's say they fail to register, and then on uninstallation I am informed that they cannot deregister.:roll:


I have no other problems installing ANY program other than this one.

Any idea?? I'm out of any clues other than perhaps my security is set to disallow something????

I wouldn't even bother installing it, it is starting to show other antispyware apps as potential problems, plus they are going to want you to pay for it soon....not worth it IMO..........

I agree with jazzman on this one. I installed it twice and both times it was just one headache after another.

uhh...yea..uninstall it..lol

check your activeX controls in IE->tools, make sure you install as administrator, if you use google desktop, uninstall that then reinstall M$ Anti-crapware...

I did all that Blizey.........:bawling: .......and it still won't install, and I am not sure which active X's to allow....:bawling: .

I actually liked this program when many said it was no good. It is quite well liked around the net, and I had NO spyware after installing it. I still don't get anything as I use ADwatch by adaware pro, but that thing annoys me....:roll: .......pops up all the time telling me what to do... LOL***
