Recently released as the full version (not beta). IM2 will let you connect several chat clients together at once. Worth a try for anyone who doesn't like Trillian.

So using IM2, I can talk to one person who is using 'Yahoo IM' and another who is using 'MSN Messenger', separately, simultaneously???Originally Posted by Vidster

You can invite people from any of the supported clients to chat with IM2 and Trillian.
I've just installed IM2 and switched back to Trillian within an hour of setting it up. Trillian seems a bit more 'polished' to me at the minute![]()

To be honest, any software that "claims" to be Cross Platform and hasn't even gotten to "cross" yet, isn't worth it, its just an empty promise, which will follow with more empty promises. (speaking from experience here)
I used to LOVE trillian until I tried Gaim. Gaim blows Trillian away, and its freehttp://gaim.sourceforge.net/
I use IM2. I like it the best. It runs faster and don't have all those plugins that kill a computer. It does have it's draw backs though, but if you and the person that you are both using IM2 is has alot of cool smilies and features. There are a lot themes to choose from too, if you are into things like that. There forums are friendly and full of help.
