i was wondering if someone could help me? i cant get my computer to play my music. it says i have no sound device

Alright thanks for posting . What OS are you running? And do you know who made your Sound Card and what model? And have you tried installing any drivers yet? Also what does it say when you do this: (Windows XP instructions)

Device Manager
Sound, video, game controllers. Any questions marks or anything along those lines? And what is listed under that only?
