    Angry Sygate Personal Firewall

I keep getting alerts popping up saying that a programe has been blocked from accessing the network. One is Win32 svhost.exe the other is kernal32 ntoskrnl.exe. They pop up all the time especially when on Forums. How do I tell Sygate to allow access, ticking "Don' show this window again" does not seem to stop them.

    Win xp pro sp2
    office xp pro sp3
    amd athlone 2100
    1Mb ram

    Thank's in advance.

First of all TDD, this is nothing to worry about . What Sygate is doing is detecting system programs talking to each other and because it doesn't know what they are it is stopping them.

To cure this you need to allow them access in the Application logs in Sygate.
    Try this:
START>ALL PROGRAMS>SYGATE PERSONAL FIREWALL> Double click on Sygate to open the options panel. At the bottom of the screen there are various icons or names. Look for the two processes on there. Right click on it and set it to ALLOW.
If you can't see them there, you need to select the applications icon near the top of the window. This opens a list of all programs that Sygate has checked. Again, look for the programs on the list, when you find them just place a check in the box to the left of the program.

    Hope this helps

    [EDIT] Moved to software forum
