    Question Sygate firewall query.

Well it didn't take long did it, here I go. This message keeps popping up saying sygate has blocked NT Kernel & System ( ntoskrnl.exe ) fom accessing the internet. The option to ignore is there. What should I do.
These are the programes that run all the time.
    Spyware Blaster
    Ad-Watch

P.s. Do I need to configure AVG7 for mozilla Firefox.

    Thanks.

Correct me if I am wrong. But you are safe blocking it

I posted before vidster told me in the previouse post to let Sygate settle down with the warnings, so I'll let it do it's thing, by the way my bananas stopped dancing, what have I done . Any ideas.

Mine does that all the time . It's not the forums; its like that on most. If your connection is "lag" or slowed they won't dance. . At this same momment, mine aren't dancing either.

Well that answers something that bugd me tonight, was trying to download a programe and it was like 1kbps so it must be slow. Think I'll have a word with my ISP I should be at 1MB broadband speed this does not seem right. Thank's for pointing this out.

Ahh, this is one thing i didn't warn you about TDD . Sygate can be somewhat 'over protective' when monitoring traffic on your computer. This means that Sygate monitors traffic 'inside' your computer, as well as leaving and entering your computer.

Sygate is monitoring your computer processes 'talking' to each other and because it does not recognise this as 'safe', it blocks it automatically. ntoskrnl.exe is a program that runs at startup and should be safe to allow if it pop's up again. It shouldn't make much difference either way as the program has already done it's thing before Sygate starts . I allowed it on mine with no problems .

Thak's for your replies. one thing I found out the unistall with Norton does not unistall everything. I had to go to add/remove programes to get rid of everything. But it's all gone now.
