For all of you out there who don't fell like paying for protection that windows SHOULD intergrate into their OS (anti-virus, a GOOD firewall), I have two links that should do the job for you.

    They are totally free.

    Anti-Virus: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download886.html

    Firewall: http://www.zonelabs.com/store/conten...ulist_download

    Hope this could help!

    ok am currently running:

    Norton Firewall
    Norton Antivirus
    Microsoft AntiSpyware(BETA)
    AdAware
    Spyware Blaster
    Spybot Search & Destroy
    Easycleaner
    BeClean

Realistically - is there anything else that I need?

I would recommend replacing 'snortin' Norton with AVG7 and Sygate personal firewall. Apart from that you might consider installing SpywareGuard to partner SpywareBlaster

I actually took Norton off my pc few weeks ago and installed AVG (although I never liked it, don't ask me why. Think it's that ugly box hehe) Anyway I d/l'ed and installed AVG and it found a trojan on my pc that's been sitting there for who knows how long:eyespop: I use SpywareGuard but I think I took the Blaster off.

Funny Kim, but if I don't like a program's Icon, I can totally dislike the program:eyespop: !! No joke. Zone Alarm Icon stinks. I wrote and told them it deserved to be voted worst of the net:eyespop: !

So many updates, so little time, too many spies, so little to find:rofl: !
