nlite makes a brand new installation cd. All you do is copy all the files from your original windows cd to a folder on your hard drive. Have the service pack and drivers downloaded and waiting somewhere. Follow the directions nlite gives you and you will end up making a brand new iso image of your new and improved windows operating system. All you need is something to burn the iso image. I used Deepburner (its free too).

nlite looks like a nice program. I don't suppose I can use it with an e machine restore DVD. Also, is it possible to burn from DVD to CD?

I've no idea about restore cds. It would be a good experiment.

You can "rip" them, to the files, but not sure how you would get them on a CD from there. There is probably a program out there.
