I've taken the plunge and installed Firefox!. I'm now having a few teething problems with it.

    1. When i click on a link, i get a new window open and Firefox says it is loading the page but that is as far as it gets?.

    2. When AIM alerts me to a new email, i click on the link but it just does what i described above.

Anyone solving this/these problems will be rewarded with a big fat Thank-you!

    Hey Vidster.....

My Firefox loads pages fine, however, have you tried the following links. Also, do you have 'cookies' allowed, Firewall configured to accept Firefox, pop-up stopper 'allowing' the new Firefox windows? Just suggestions, really.

    Mozilla Firefox Support

I have been playing with it a bit and i have noticed that it seems to be the Microsoft links that do not open. I also think i have chosen not to allow third party cookies. I will go and change that now

I have changed the cookie settings, the pop up settings and turned the Firewall off.
    It is still the same

"Waiting for support.microsoft.com" is what i see at the bottom of the screen.
The same sort of thing happens when i try to see my emails using AIM?

It's almost like the firewall is blocking it but i definately turned it off and it is still the same :?

Well, that site works for me and I have had a look through Firefox's 'Internet' options to no avail. I'm not really that familiar will Firefox, to be honest. You did install v1.0?

Yeah it's definatly the final release Jazz.
I have a feeling i will need to start a few such threads to get Firefox working how i like it

Now I know where you're coming from Vidster.

I browsed to the 'Spurs' home site just now using Firefox and clicked on their 'live' link holding Ctrl. It opened into another 'tab', naturally, and displays nothing.

I even entered the 'Spurs' website into the 'allowed' Block Popup Windows option. Still no dice. I think it's a bug personally......

So you'r a Spurs fan then ehh Jazz!. I'm glad to see M Brown is finding his shooting boots again under M Jol. When you signed him from us, i thought he was never going to settle.
    It's looking dodgy for Defoe

Now that's what i call 'off topic'

Yes, for my sins, I'm a Spurs fan and lo and behold, the team is not doing too badly either, for a change!! *LOL*

However, I must confess that I really 'follow' Spurs, in the sense that I look out for their progress. You ask me to name the players, then forget it! *LOL*

Strangely enough, I actually live approximately 10 minutes walk from the ground itself.....
