Ok I have been having this problem with msn for awhile now. Actually seems like ever since I did some sp1 and sp2 updates. But msn keeps freezing up whenever I try to send or receive pics and also go on webcam. It's really getting annoying. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no use grrrr. Also tried msn 7 beta and it did the same thing although I wish it would work as it has some neat features.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I see people having this problem all the time. I think your problem is with your sp2. I think it has to do with your firewall settings! I can't tell you what to change. I don't have sp2 or MSN Messenger installed. I do have use MSN but I use it with IM2 not MSN Messenger. I don't think that if you switch it would help. I have similar problems from time to time and it has to do with my firewall. You could try messing with the settings and getting it to work or maybe someone here has sp2 installed and could help you. If it were me I would disable the firewall or uninstall sp2. I'm, not saying this would be the best choice for you, it's just what I would do.

Well got it working now. Must have been that sp2 like you said. I thought it might have been that so now it's fixed. Just read about that new trojan that you posted so hopefully don't get that haha.
Had a trojan few weeks ago actually took me two days to get off.

Tried going on cam and Wham!!! Froze again....I even downloaded msn in dutch thinking maybe that would help hahaha :rofl:

OK Kim! I'm sorry I forgot to tell you, you have to shut off your automatic update! If you didn't shut it off it probably reinstalled the sp2. to shut it off go into your control panel, click the System icon ant click on the Automatic Update tab. There will be a setting to shut it off. after you shut it off you con uninstall it again. If this doesn't help let me know!

I hate the automatic update thing so I think I shut that off long time ago. I don't get it though, it worked to send a pic which it never did before.
