Hi, Ive been importing pics from the same Sandisk SDHC 4GB card for a month now. I put it in the computer, a box pops up, imports them, I name them & they;re on my laptop. I have Vista home premium w/ SP1. Now, when I put the card in, the importing box pops up & the status bar just keeps going on & on like its loading. It usually takes about 10 sec to upload & now it just keeps loading. Then when I eject the card, it tells me to name the pics but when i try, another box pops & says something like pictures cannot be imported due to an unknown error. use error #80004005 for further help. The camera works fine. I do not have a USB cable for the camera. The pics are still on the disk and any new pics I take but either will import to laptop. Does this have anything to do with the lock button on the side of the card? Please help. I have searched every forum in Microsoft. Thank you so much

The "lock" switch is to protect your data by stopping any "writing" to the card.
It shouldn't stop any reading of the card.
Are you using an SDHC slot on the computer or just the SD slot for reading?
