transferring custom emotions from one messenger to another

i want to transfer the custom emotions from one windows live messenger from one computer to another. In fact i got the custom emotions from the path
    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger\user_id\ObjectStore\custo m emotions

from here i got the custom emotions and also changed them into .gif format.

now i am curious how can i add these custom emotions to windows live messenger of another computer .

i know i can import these one by one from the other messenger.
but isn't there some way to add all of these together , like copying the "custom emotions" folder at the same location in another computer ( or for another user of messenger in the same computer ) i tried that but didn't work out.

does somebody know the other solution besides adding each of them manually.

P.S. i don't want to use the so called messengerbackups available in the net.

I don't know much about what you want to do but the new emo-icons have to be put on your computer in such a way that messenger knows about them. That would probably involve modifying either configuration file(s) and/or the registry. The best way to do that would be by importing them or by using emot-icons that come in an automatic installer.

Most programs and program add-ons either have to be installed or (if the program has this an an option) imported and can't be copied from one computer to another because program installation involves adding to the registry, adding/changing configuration files, as well as possibly adding/updating system files. Usually only the program manufacturer knows which of those needs to be done and how. It is safest for your system to either install programs/add-ons or to import add-ons. Does this make sense?

Changing files yourself or changing file types could very well prevent the program from using an add-on or even corrupt the program depending on what was changed, how, and how the program uses it.
