.MOV to .WMV or any .MOV editing software

    Hi,
I was wondering if there were any freeware out that that could convert .mov files into .wmv or .avi. I know of super but for some reason when it converts it doesn't show the file. Also with Handbrake it doesn't show the file anywhere as well. If not, I was wondering if there were any .mov editing freeware. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.

Just for a quick starter I don't know if any of these are free but take a look:

.mov files into .wmv or .avi - Google Search

I've practically looked at all of those. I googled like crazy. The one people said worked for free was erightsoft's Super, but it just won't work for me

    Just another quickie:

When you say the file is not shown are you sure the bottom box on explorer is set to show all file types?

oops i probably should have clarified. What I mean is that it says the file has been converted but when i check the folder 'Output' where its suppose to be, its not there. and I tried searching for it and I end up with nothing.

    What is your operating system?

Were you ever able to do this conversion?

Have you ever been able to use Super on this computer?

    I have windows vista.

No, I am still desperately trying to find a program that does this for free. I found one that converts half of it -_-. So I figure if I find another program to combine 2 .mov files then I can get the full conversion when i combine two whole file.

I've never used Super until now. I've looked around and everyone claims its a life saver. Not so much for me.

OK I am just searching as I have no experience in this.

There appears to be a lot of options if you want to pay $30 or so.

Sometimes one needs to pay for software.

    Anyway more Google:

HandBrake • View topic - How To: Rip, Encode and Combine Using Fairmount & DTOX

combine 2 .mov - Google Search

Beyond that you can always browse the bay.

Windows movie maker will convert and it will even allow you to combine files.
