Hi, I'm running Office 2007 on my laptop(with Vista Business- I gig ram ). Of late I have noticed that when I type characters in Excel, they appear several seconds after I have typed them. My laptop is generally clean of spyware etc, and my antivirus and windows update are both updated. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Hi, I forgot to add that I did a google on the problem and one of the responses mention something about edting the Preference\libraries or something like that. First off, does anyone know how to get into these files? and secondly has anyone heard of this fix?

I think I managed to sort this one out. My laptop has 2 x 512mb memory sticks, apparently one was dislodged and the laptop was only using 512mb instead of 1gig and this really slowed the laptop down, making everything work at a "moonwalk" pace.
