Sometimes Firefox can't connect to the internet first time - it just says the page cannot be found; however, the second time it connects. This happens on all web pages; why is this? I have got Windows XP SP3 and is using Firefox 3.0.4

I do not have the answer to your your question as to "why is this?" but I have had the same thing occur on my Windows PCs (XP-SP3). It has only happen a few times and not enough to be bothersome. I figure that it may be a bug in FF.

It has never happened on my Linux boxes.

If you Have No Scripts installed, it will block certain access to webpages unless you allow them to open using the options Menu.

If you don't have No Scripts installed, well, as they said in "laugh in" Never Mind.
