I have an Acer laptop from 2005, running Windows XP. I really havent used it much but I was trying to clean it up & make it faster. My IE kept "encountering a problem" & shutting down. Then the error report would pop up & ask me if I wanted to send error report or not. It started to do this about 5x per day. I researched this issue found that deleting some add -ons will solve this issue. I want to know if this will solve IE from cutting off & how do I do it. Also How do I know which add-ons I need to keep or which one is causing the problem. Please help. Any suggestions to make it faster would also be appreciated. Thanks again

Being a Linux user (prejudiced) I would suggest trying out some open source browser like firefox, seamonkey,flock or opera. Just a suggestion though.
