Google goes Second Life style

Second Life: Official site of the 3D online virtual world

You ever tried any of this software jephree? It has always sounded like an interesting idea and something interesting from a technical viewpoint, but not something I'd actively visit. I might give Lively a try, could be interesting.

I have been in Second Life although I never spent any money there.

Most of the interesting material needs to be bought.

Google looks like a very basic version of Second Life.

Second Life is quite a visual experience.

Worth a look in my opinion.

I just tried Lively and it is a very basic type of Second Life.

Basically a chat room that you can design with objects and audio/video.

An extension of Google Talk.

Went into a club. Anyway basically avatars and rooms where you can chat.

Second Life is a much "fuller" infrastructure.
