    Hi

Ok i have ESET Security Suite already installed and am NOT looking to change that as i find it very versatile and user friendly. I'm just looking to increase protection.

    Any recommendations?

ESET is an extremely good maker of security software whom I highly rate. The suite comes with protection for all types of malware and a personal firewall so the protection it provides is more than adequate. The best tip I offer to increase security is use common sense when browsing the net, watch what you download (use reputable sites) and don't open emails from unknown senders. Common sense will leave your security suite idle.

Gives me a reason for why the kids can't touch my computer

On a serious note, thank you.

Since you mention you have kids, another good thing I recommend is to make sure the kids have their own user accounts that are set as limited so they are prevented from installing things and fiddling with computer settings.

Or just exercise a complete ban

    Your welcome

Speaking of kids, Microsoft has a very useful program that can make the default accounts settings much more robust. It's called SteadyState. I really think you should check it out if children or guests are a concern when it comes to the computer.

    Here's the link

And here's a more detailed explanation about it...

Nice link Kaistar! Never heard of that program before. Something I'll have to take a look at.

I think Microsoft should've bundled it to begin with lol. It's really useful! Now my brother can't screw my laptop up anymore! =D
