Windows Media Player 10 Error
G'day guys.
I always receive an error message saying "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." blah blah.
I'm using windows XP, it happens every time I open just the player itself, as well as when I open anything that is related to wmv. E.g. movies and songs.
Here's some things that might help.
Error Signature
AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 11.0.5721.5145 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.3119 Offset: 00012a7b
So yeah... been stressing over this for the past couple of days. Would appreciate help. Also I'm pretty average with computers so please explain "how to" resolve, if there is a solution.
Thank-you

You can try updating to Windows Media player 11. The link is here: |MG| Microsoft Windows Media Player 11.0.6000.6344 . If you already have Windows Media Player 11 installed you can go to Control Panel,Add Remove programs and remove your installed version of Media Player and Download and install the new Windows Media Player. Hope this helps.
