hi can any1 help ive used convertxtodvd and burned the vob files on to dvd when i play the video on my standalone player there is no sound but when i play it on my pc there is sound? ive always used convertxtodvd and had no probs with it until now ive even burned the file on to a cdr with sound on my standalone player but it will not play any sound on a dvd-r very confused

yes i also had the same problem, but mine was is xvid format.

firstly i have no idea what the problem could be however, if you just convert the file to .mpg format, i am 99% sure it will work on your tv, the sound WILL come. you can use any video converter for this, i use NCH Prism Video Converter. But remember it must be in .mpg format to convert the file, otherwise it might not work. and also if the video file you already have is in .mpg format, then all u need 2 do is just burn it to the disk. then your done.

i cannot hear the sound in my dvd

ive got a lot of files for a dvd film ive d/loaded ive converted them with convertxtodvd its burnt them on the disc when i put it in my home dvd player it has no sound ? any help please......
