I'm a bit of a PC chump but I can manage some of the basics.

I've inherited a security camera with a cable to a DVR box that does clever stuff like record the images etc. It has one video output to a telly which works well and I've purchased another cable (BNS?) to plug into my PC's yellow socket (one of the red, yellow and white ones).

I was hoping to rescan my Media Center software to pick up the new signal but nothing happened. There's an aerial in the back which works fine on the same software.

Do I need to get new software to get the security camera images via this DVR box on my PC? What would you suggest?
