I am new to this forum, so I'm not exactly sure where to post this question, or even if this forum would be able to help me. (I hope so )

I need to start an exe on another PC, and have it run on that PC. Scenario:

PC1 needs to start exe on PC2 and have that exe run on PC2. i would then also need to be able to close the exe running on PC2 from PC1 at some stage.

Remote Access software can do that for you even in a Local Area Network (LAN). One tool that you could try is LogMeIn (FREE):

www.logmein.com

I often use this tool at night in my living room to access, run, and monitor applications on my PC in my home office (up stairs) from my 17" laptop. The experience is nearly the same as if you were physically using the actual remote PC keyboard and monitor.

Thanx Vincent P. i was actually thinking in the lines of a shell command or something, since I am actually writing a program (VB6) that needs to start the exe on the other PC.
