I use Windows XP on my Centrino Duo Laptop. Any downloaded MP3 File plays in Winamp on my Laptop but any downloaded Real Media audio file converted to MP3 file (by using many RM to MP3 converters) doesn't play sound although the file plays. Even if I make a CD recording of these RM to MP3 converted files for playing in my home CD player there is no sound. Why these RM to MP3 converted files don't play with sound?

What site are you getting the RM files from? (This might be your answer)
