Hi,

I have just bought a new Dell PC and am trying to get all my videos (TV shows and films) from my old computer onto my new one. I bought an external hard drive so I could cut them from my old PC, then set up and the new PC and transfer them that way. Now I am currently transferring them from the hard drive to my new comp.

My pictures and music tracks all went perfectly, but when I try to play my videos all I get is the sound but no picture. Is there a codec I am missing, or does anyone have any info to help me out?

Try DivX. This happened to me before. Hope this works.

Thanks for the reply, but I've just downloaded the VLC media player and that's sorted my problem.
