I have firefox as my default web browser. However, about 2 weeks ago the browser doesnt seem to be working. Every time I try to use it a page the system keeps telling me: "Server not found" Firefox can't find the server at en-us.www.mozilla.com. Does anybody knows what is happening? I have windows XP and y computer is a Sony VAIO VGC-RA810G. Would anybody please help?

if you have got a firewall make sure it is letting firefox access the net.
if this is not your problem then scan for viruses you may have a type of Trojan called a DNS Changer.
does Internet explorer get on the net ok.

First thing to try, is to create new profile, and see, if same thing happens.
If it does, you'll have to totally uninstall FF: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox
Install fresh copy afterwards.
