I'm creating a database of films I've recorded from TV on to DVD. I'm using MS Works database (Version 7). I want to cut text from the Internet Movie Database and paste it into a field in my DB. I have formatted the field size to BEST FIT and I have successfully cut and pasted text into the field. However, for some reason I can't fathom, after a number of successful attemps I suddenly get an error message saying THE SOURCE DATA IS LARGER THAN THE SELECTION. ADD NEW FIELDS TO MAKE IT FIT?

Shouldn't the text fit straight into the field? It will allow me to type the text but that would take too long.

Any ideas?

open a new sperate box and copy it into that (then place that in ur work)
