I'm in some desparate need of help...I'm using WIndows XP and Outlook Express 6. My inbox used to contain about 2,000 emails. Right now my inbox is showing only around 320 emails. Some of those emails do not show the body of the email instead it says: "Message could not be displayed
Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again."

This happened last week and I restarted and it fixed itself. This time I restarted and compacted the files but still have the problem.

Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance!!!!

(it's now Sun early morning and I have a deadline Monday morning but the files needed were in an email in my Inbox that is no longer there...)

There is some software made for OE recovery such as:

As far as I know they all co$t $$$.

I have no direct experience of any of them.
