Can anyone help? I have recently purchased a digital cam corder and want to put the video captures onto a DVD. I have a DVD rewriter and have recently copied my wedding pictures from a DVD to another DVD. However, now for some reason, whem I come to burn to DVD a box appears saying 'no DVD in drive' when clearly I have put a DVD into the 'F' drive. I am using DVD-R and DVD+R and tried both drives. This happens using the software that came with the camera, downloaded software and Windows Media,

have a look at the properties of the drive you are trying to use to make sure auto play is turned on.
If it is not turned on then your computer does not know that there is a blank cd in the drive

thanks for the info. I put the disk into the drive, turned on auto play blank DVD and nothing happened. I also tried to format the disk and the computer said 'insert media'. I placed a blank DVD into the drive and it said try again. For some reason my computer will not read a blank DVD.
