    Question Error Message

I have WinXP with Internet Explorer 6. When I close a program I will see this error message: "IExplore.exe Application Error: The Instruction @ "0x6230439"Referred memory @ "0x62304390" The memory could not be read". Could you tell me in easy steps how to correct this? I've already done the "repair" on IE & I'm still getting the message.
    Thanks.

Do you clean out your temp files?

    Do you run Malware scans?

You might want to follow the steps in my next post.

This can be an indication of an infected computer although it can be other things as well.

I'd suggest getting a viral diagnosis first off.

Please read THIS and after completing the steps outlined post a HijackThis log over in that section along with a brief description of your problem.

Do not post HijackThis logs in this section please.

    A. First, clear the IE6 Cache (IE6/Tools/Internet options/General tab/Browsing History).
    B. Second, disable all your IE6 Add-ons (IE 6/Tools/Internet Options/Programs Tab/Manage addons/click the "manage addons" button, then disable each and every one of them. Then see if that error message no longer occurs. If so, enable the add-ons one by one and test. When the error message re-occurs, get rid of that add-on.
