No sound in recorded video
I am trying to record some analog video cassettes through an USB AV converter ( GrabBee+ Deluxe USB 2.0 AV Grabber) in my win. XP computer. In the preview the video and audio is excellent, but while playing the recorded file the video is fine, but there is no sound. It is all same whatever media player I have used, such as Real ,WMP, Power DVD. I am a doctor ,not a computer expert. I have tried to adjust sound effect manager and audio devices in control panel, but could not able to correct it. Please help.

Hi Amita,
In order to help you I need some more information.
What connections have you made between your video player and your USB box please?
Have you connected both audio leads (red and white) as well as the video (yellow) lead?
Regards.

Hi Amita,
I think I misunderstood your original post.
If the audio is OK in the preview, it's obviously there "in the file" so it's a problem with the output.
What format does your program create for output
Is it avi, mpeg or something else?
Regards.

Yes, as Ford asked, which format is the file being saved in? (ending) Also which encoding is the video (usually MPEG-4 I imagine) and the sound in?
Can you hear sound by playing normal video files in Real Player or anything else normally?
