Is there any simple way to merge 3 mini DVDs on to one full size disc? My camcorder is a Sony DVD-DCR105 and it records to 30 minute mini DVDs. I need to free up those discs, so is there a way to merge them on to one full DVD? I'd expect at least 3 minis per full disk, 1.4GB per mini, 4.7 per full size. It should only use 4.2GB. Any ideas? It's easy and as you say you can get 3 minis on one standard size.
What you need is the right software.
You should have received some software with your cam and that should allow you to do it.
If you have no software then you need to get something like Ulead's Video Studio. I think the latest version is 11+, but versions 9 and 10 will also work for you.
You simply go to the "Share" step, say "make disc", then "DVD", then "Import" from existing dvd.
Do this for each of your minis and you will see three films in the bottom window.
Click OK or next to go to the menu step or you can go straight to burning the DVD.
