    Incredimail Accounts

    Hi

    We recently had to have a new computer. I am having trouble setting incredimail to only send me my emails and for my husband to receive his when he logs on. At the moment whoever logs on to incredimail gets them all in their inbox. I had this trouble a few years ago and resolved it, im now kicking myself for not writing it down lol. I seem to remember it was a simple thing to do but just cant remember that simple thing!!!

    It sounds like you have a shared email account whereby you have one username for your own mailbox and your husband has another username for his own mailbox. I suspect, however, that you have set up Incredimail to receive all messages for your shared account, rather than just the emails for your username.

    As I'm not familiar with Incredimail, I cannot tell you how to check / resolve this but, as some general guidance, go into the screen in Incredimail where you set up the email account and check the username that you are logging in with. It's probably the general username for the shared account and you probably have a specific username just for yourself which you should use instead.

    If you're running XP you should have incredimail set up separately on each account with the relevant email details in each. If you've only one user account then you'll just have to have both email accounts in one session but create "rules" to re-route the emails to folders you can set up for each of you.
