Hi, all my desktop icons and startmenu icons are getting replaced by one single icon which looks like a (command window or an internet explore icon). This happens all of a sudden. Norton hasn't detected any virus. System restore too wasn't able to solve this.

Did you run adaware before hand by any chance? When you click one what happens?

It functions normally when those icons are clicked. I have solved that problem, I don't for sure whether it is just temporary. I created a new account and transferred things to that account and deleted the old account which was creating this problem
