    Angry Receiving’ reported error (0x80030070): ‘Access is denied.

    Help!! I am unable to send and receive emails.
    When using outlook to download emails, I keep getting the following error message:
    Task ‘pop.ntlworld.com – Receiving’ reported error (0x80030070): ‘Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not being used.’
    I am using XP, with 105gb of spare memory. I have cleared down my old messages in outlook.
    Can anybody help?

    Probably that ntl email is down at the moment. It happens a lot

    Sorry, been away.

    Traced the error messages to conflicting software - Internet Cleanup which is messing up my PC.
    Deleted software and it worked fine. Puzzling bit is I have had the software for about 6 months so I guess an update to the software has caused the conflict.
