Nero 6 and Call of Duty 2
First, I recently add 2 more sticks of PC4200 DDR2 533. So, I have 4 GB of memory all same speed.
Now, here is my issues; 1). Most of the time when I am playing Call of Duty 2 (online) my cpu will just up and restart. Why?
Secondly, now when I go and use Nero 6 to copy any movie it get about 3/4 into it and it stops telling me "out of memory." Does this mean my physical memory? Man, I hope not.
Any thoughts??

Has Windows increased your virtual memory (pagefile) to an appropriate size now that you've increased your RAM? If virtual memory was limited to a pre-defined size, then it needs to be increased in line with the RAM size.

Where do I look to see if it was increased?
-
Right-click My Computer and select Properties. Go to the Advanced tab. Click the Settings button in the Performance area. Go to the Advanced tab. Click the Change button in the Virtual Memory area to see the minimum and maximum virtual memory allocation.

Here is what the min/max are:
Minimum 2MB
Recommened 5373MB
Current allocated 2046MB

Not to add any more problems but, after I get "important dl for you computer from the micorsoft updating" Now, I get this message:
"RTHDCPL.EXE Illegal system relocation
The system dll user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the dll c:\windows\system32\hhctrl.ocx occupied and address range resevered for window's system dlls. The vendor suppling the dll should be contacted for a new dll."
I hit run and type in "rthdcpl.exe" and it is my sound. Which is onboard chip. I don't understand why this happened....
Any suggestion. First, I would like to take care of my orginal post about my memory. I posted above. Thanks DJNafey

Okay I just updated my drivers for my sound and all is good. Now, back to the page memory. What do you want me to do there?

I just went and adjusted my pagefile to the recommened amout 5375.
So, now it would look like this min-5373mb/max-10746mb
Note**It was at min-2046MB/max-4092MB
Reopen Nero and it get about 50% down and still tells me "burn failed out of memory". Do I increase the min again? If so, to what?
