    What's the problem?

That .dll is generally associated with printers and or scanners.

If you are missing the .dll:

What do you mean by scan the disk?

Most printers advise to run their setup CD prior to plugging in the printer.

Is this what you are doing?

If so then the setup disk is saying it cannot find wiafbdrv.dll?

If so what is the make and model of the printer?

That .dll can be found at the previous link I posted but it should be on your install CD as well.

    Download this to your desktop:

    http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...shtml?wiafbdrv

(EDIT: sorry they time out their links. Try the above and follow the steps).

Right click it and choose Extract all and follow the prompts to extract to the folder on Desktop. Just keep pressing Next Next Next.

Once extracted you need to move this .dll into your C:/Windows/System32 directory.

To do this right click on C: under My Computer then click Open.

If you get an error go to start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View

Click: Show hidden files and folders

Unclick: Hide protected operating system files

Go back to My Computer and right click C: then Open and clear any prompts that warn of opening C: etc.

From C: click Windows then click System32

Have both your desktop and system32 open at the same time where you can see both.

Click and hold click on the DLL you extracted and drag it into the System32 folder and release click.

This will move that DLL into your System32 folder.

Then try again from the beginning to run your install CD.
